The banking history of the Chandler Family that owns Fidelity State Bank & Trust Company dates back to 1883. The Chandler Family has been active in a large number of Kansas banks since then and continues to be active in banks in Kansas.

1922 | Fidelity State Bank & Trust Company opened for business in Topeka, Kansas |
1933 | Became a charter member of Federal Deposit Insurance Co |
1958 | The founder of Fidelity Bank, J. H. Collingwood, sold the bank to Anderson Chandler and members of the Chandler Family |
1966 | Construction begins on the new Home Office building in Topeka, Kansas |
1967 | Completed construction of the new Home Office |
1973 | Southwest and Huntoon branches established |
1976 | Offered ATM Cards |
1989 | Westridge Branch established |
1993 | Offered VISA check cards |
2001 | Offered Internet Banking |
2009 | Offered Remote Deposit Capture for Commercial customers Offered e-statements |

2014 | Offered Mobile Banking Apps for Apple and Android devices |

2022 | Designed a mobile friendly/responsive website and updated the mobile banking applications for Apple and Android platforms |
2022 | To better serve customers in an ever-changing marketplace we consolidated the services from the Southwest and Huntoon branches with the Westridge branch. This included a remodel of the Westridge branch and adding additional staff and services to provide full banking access. |
2024 | Updated Business Banking Services includes more customizable features plus mobile banking, mobile deposit and mobile e-Statements |
